Vacation Bible School
About the Theme:
Join us for a heavenly adventure to seek the true treasure of the Kingdom of Heaven! “Caelestis” (pronounced cha-lest-ees) is Latin for “heavenly” and we will use a simplified telling of the Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien as our fun them. We will NOT be using movie clips this year due to a PG-13 rating and scary imagery. Children will learn about what it means to build up treasure in heaven (Luke 12: 32-34) and the corrupting nature of attachment to worldly goods.
Parents, we HIGHLY encourage you to read The Hobbit to your children this summer in preparation for VBS!

*PreK age kids must at least 3 years old and be toilet trained OR must have a parent on site at all times for bathroom breaks

St Thomas Aquinas

Time: 9:00am-12:00pm
Grades: Kinder-5th
VBS at St. Thomas Aquinas will use many of the same themes as the Holy Redeemer VBS, but will be presented in a simpler format.
