Why All Hallows?
The Scottish word “Hallowe’en” means “All Hallows Eve,” referring to the night before All Saints Day. We celebrate All Saints Day (and go to Mass!) on November 1st, remembering all the people who are in heaven. On November 2nd we celebrate All Souls Day by praying for all of our deceased family and friends, especially the souls in Purgatory. While popular American culture has taken Halloween far from its Christian roots, we can keep the day as originally intended by combining some wholesome fun (candy and games!) with saintly celebrating. Come join us!

Never been to a Trunk or Treat? A Trunk or Treat is an alternative to going door-to-door for trick or treating. Volunteers bring their cars to our lot. As kids visit each car, you pass out candy from your car’s trunk.
